In 2014, Victoria Sinclair (Jennifer Fay Hopkins), after being with Naked News since its inception in December 1999, left the show after nearly 15 years as their lead anchor. Above is Victoria’s very last in-studio appearance on camera on April 16th, 2014, completely nude and quite fuller figured than she was during her earlier years with the show. (She was shown in a pre-recorded segment in the July 7, 2014 episode, in which she was one of the anchors who visited Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica, and shown in a short, pre-recorded promo or two since, but this was her last live in-studio appearance.) After co-anchoring a North American news story with Kat Curtis (Brandy Dawley), Victoria simply turns the spot over to now-long forgotten guest anchor Lyndsay, who most likely unbeknownst to her, had the honor and distinction of having her introduction be the last act Victoria ever performed on “the program with nothing to hide.”
April 16th 2014 was the last time Victoria appeared naked on Naked News, but 10 years later, in September 2024, she (as well as a few other Naked News alumnae) did return to the Naked News studios to give her comments and reflections for their 25th anniversary series of special shows. Much to the disappointment of fans, who wanted to get a look at Victoria’s naked body after 10 years away from the camera, she remained fully clothed for her segment, as did the other former anchors who participated. However, Victoria did appear to be braless and her form-fitting top didn’t do much to conceal that her breasts, still natural, seemed more pendulous and larger than ever.
Since Victoria did appear (unlike quite a few other former anchors, who may have been contacted by the show, but now wish to forget their days with Naked News) and had good things to say about her time with the show, it’s reasonable to assume she parted ways with Naked News on amicable terms, or if she had not, she at least had let bygones be bygones.
Even though the reasons for Victoria’s abrupt 2014 departure from the show she helped develop from the ground up remain unclear and she left without fanfare, announcement, or even a goodbye, and there has since been an anchor who has surpassed Victoria’s tenure at Naked News (Eila Adams), Victoria (“Vic” to those on the set) will always be fondly remembered and known by fans as “The First Lady of Naked News.”
Victoria Sinclair, born Jennifer Fay Hopkins in 1966, was the first presenter to join NakedNews.com when the show debuted in December 1999. Being a risk taker, she delivered the news while taking off all of her clothes as the only anchor for several months, until a second news anchor decided to present the news with nothing to hide.
Victoria was the lead anchor until she took a year’s sabbatical soon after the events of 9/11. Since her return in November 2002 and onwards, she has been more committed than ever to Naked News. Nudity presents no issues to Victoria, and she views nudity as a celebration of the great respect and admiration she holds for the human form. She is originally from Southern Ontario, Canada and holds dual Canadian/United States citizenship. According to her, Naked News stands out in contrast to standard news programs by providing information about news events, delivered in a voice that is less restrained and less inhibited. Prior to her Naked News career, Ms. Sinclair has had diverse experience in the business world, and has worked in the areas of copy editing, marketing, and as an event coordinator.
Not surprising for the first lady of Naked News, Victoria lists poet/playwright Oscar Wilde, prima ballerina Veronica Tennant, as well as singer-songwriter Scott Walker as some of her influences. She enjoys skiing, ballet, reading, and yoga; the latter bringing her peace and balance. Having seen much of Europe and also studying abroad in France, her travels inspired a keen interest in world events and the global community. That’s why Victoria is so proud of her tenure on Naked News and its contribution to the world’s virtual community.

This video of Victoria giving the international news report from August of 2000, when Naked News was only eight months old and the Internet was still new to most, was the earliest we were able to dig up. Note at this early stage, she was introducing the show as “The Naked News.” Of course the Holy Grail of Naked News videos would be the very first show from December 1999, but even the current owners of Naked News claim not to have it and a recording of that show may no longer even exist.

Naked News or Victoria herself made no attempt to conceal the fact that during her last few years with the show, she was obviously putting on a considerable amount of weight. In fact, it seemed to be quite the contrary that Victoria or the producers were trying to conceal the fact that she was becoming noticeably larger. Victoria seemed to embrace it. She did more of her reports completely nude from beginning to end and never shied away from doing reports next to other fully nude (and much slimmer) anchors, allowing body comparisons to be made. Besides dispensing with starting out clothed and stripping, Victoria also dispensed with her pubic hair. A prime example is this clip, as here the large and lovely Ms. Sinclair closes out the September 22, 2013 show (seven months before her departure) from Hanlan’s Point Beach in Toronto, proudly baring all of her quite full figure, not toned or tanned, and even going so far as to give viewers a complete and (surprising) full view of her very ample backside after she signs off and walks away from the camera.
She did put on a lot of weight her last year with the show, but carried it well and was not ashamed of her body. I wish she would return for a guest appearance.
So do I, but doubt that will happen. I wish it would because it was clear to see, during her last year or so with the show, as Victoria’s body got bigger, so did her boobs. Here she is just last year with Alana Blaire when she appeared on NN’s 25th anniversary show. Victoria has gotten bigger and softer since leaving and even though it actually does look like she is wearing a bra – and if I may be blunt – we can even see the outline of her nipples on her natural, low-hanging tits.
Naked News wouldn’t still be around today if it weren’t for Victoria, but her days of being nude on camera are over and she quit at the right time. Wish her nothing but the best.
I wish Victoria would start a Fansly or OnlyFans page for fans who would still love to see her naked body.
I am surprised to see how she looked on the beach. Victoria was so slim in 2003, but looks like in 2011 she started getting thicker. There are other past Naked News anchors who have gotten big – not that there is anything wrong with that – but it was after they left the show. Arielle Banks also appeared on the 25th anniversary show and she is now plus size.
Victoria’s body changed quite a bit during her time with Naked News. I know she was with the show for 15 years, but Eila Adams has been with the show even longer and her body has remained pretty much the same.
