During the late 2000’s Naked News expanded their program by launching different Naked News programs from around the globe. One of the countries broadcasting their own official version of Naked News was Italy. Naked News Italy was broadcasted from 2008-2010. One of its anchors regularly disrobing while presenting the news was Laura Anna (above, presenting the day’s lead stories on September 18, 2009).
Interestingly enough, Laura originally won the selection to become part of the Naked News team in Canada, but then decided to follow her dream of becoming an actress. Her first experience as actress is in the film Caravaggio: The Search, in which she has played the mistress of the Pope. Furthermore, she has also worked as a (mainly boudoir) model for many international fashion magazines. When she decided to return to Italy, she became well known for her participation in one of Italia’s funniest, albeit erotic, TV shows “SOS PATATA”. She joined the team of Naked News Italia at the end of 2008 and soon enough became one of most popular anchors of the show throughout its brief run until 2010.
