After being online for over 13 years, the Toronto-based news program Naked News has proven itself not to be just a passing fad. Here we are presenting (for no particular reason), the full show from September 2, 2008 (a date chosen at random), which features anchors Victoria Sinclair (Jennifer Fay Hopkins), Roxanne West (Annie Silvester), Erica Stevens (Zoe Thorn), April Torres (Sasha Benlisa/Benelijah), Christine Kerr (Tanya Rigley), Sandrine Renard (Jennifer Deschamps), Katherine Curtis (Brandy Dawley), and Valentina Taylor (Valentina Guerin).
Anchors listed in the ending credits (some of whom were no longer even with Naked News when this show was produced), but aren’t seen in this episode are; Cameron Shore (Kelly Taphouse), Yukiko Kimura (Angela Shintani), Alex Pantos, (Christina Patelos), Michelle Pantoliano (Michelle Rinaldi), Ashley Jenning (Alison Sclander), Whitney St. John (Dawne Furey), Samantha Page (who also went/goes by Kym Darkly and whose real name is Tanya Grout), and Lily Kwan (Norma Wong).
Oh, and since we’re revealing true identities here; Wonder Woman is Diana Prince, The Catwoman is Selina Kyle, Batgirl is Barbara Gordon (Gotham City Police Commissioner Jim Gordon’s daughter!), The Wasp is Janet Van Dyne, and Kekko Kamen is twins Chigusa and Yuka, Keiko Natsuwata, Koichi Omote, Kaori Wakatsuki, and Kei Kurenai, collectively.

I miss Sandrine Renard with her “Flex Appeal” segments and April Torres for just being April. She and Kat Curtis were the tallest anchors ever on Naked News, both up around six feet. I wonder if those two ever did a segment together standing next to each other?
Erica Stevens is up there too. Here’s a shot of April and Erica (Oh yeah – I should say Sasha and Zoe) and Erica looks to be almost the same height – unless she is wearing heels and April is barefoot.
Naked News wouldn’t be Naked News without Victoria Sinclair. I think she was 33 when she started back in 1999, so she was about 41 when this episode aired. She’s still with the show today at 46 and still looking good!

Victoria Sinclair is no longer with the show. Too bad. She brought elegance and grace to the show, even when she was naked.

Gotta love the ladies of Naked News. One of my favorites was the tall and lovely Kat Curtis, whom I believe was Naked News’ tallest anchor ever, standing at 6′ tall. Here she is next to the 5’7″ Victoria Sinclair.
Kat/Brandy/Overlairbee has gone through a transformation since leaving Naked News and now looks better than ever with a more toned body and larger breasts. Here she is last year celebrating her 40th birthday.

I don’t see why Naked News anchors have always used stage names. It’s not like them appearing on the show can be kept a secret. Like their slogan says: “The program with nothing to hide.”
Maybe it was easier to keep your “Internet persona” on the Internet back then, but today, if you are appearing nude online on a show like Naked News, chances are good someone will recognize you out in public. Like, do you think no client has ever recognized relator Michelle Rinaldi as Naked News anchor Michelle Pantoliano?? Her real name is on IMDb! – “Michelle Rinaldi as Anchor – Michelle Pantoliano”!

Anyone know what Brooke Roberts’ real name is/was? Long shot I know because she was on the show over 20 years ago, but curious to know what she’s been up to since her nude newscaster days.
She was my favorite… underrated and under appreciated and very difficult to find old material of her…
I also would like to know what’s she’s been up to since she bared all on the show with nothing to hide. IMDb has her listed as the host of a podcast series called “The Payoff,” but that’s a different Brooke Roberts. I’m sure this former Naked News anchor Brooke Roberts stopped going by “Brooke Roberts” after she left the show…and only went by “Brooke Roberts” while she was on the show.

Victoria/Jennifer has aged well. Since she paid a visit to NN studios, she must still be on good terms with them. I hope she will be returning to at least do some guest spots.
Victoria is and has always been lovely and classy. However, she left Naked News 10 years ago after being with the show for 15 years, and since she left, the show has taken a different turn and it doesn’t look like Victoria would fit in any longer. The anchors with their porn star bodies are now doing cam shows with way more explicit content. Erica Stevens has reemerged, looking good, but she has also now crossed that line into explicit content. That just doesn’t seem like where Victoria would or should go.
Victoria/Jennifer paid a visit to Naked News studios to take part in a series of 25th anniversary specials. Her, Lily Kwan/Norma Wong, Ariella Banks/Jasmine Chase (who is now a brunette, as you can see), and a couple of other former anchors gave their reflections of what it was like appearing on the show during their times.
Diane Foster was the best with the most creative strip sequences and sometimes reverse strip sequences (i.e., putting her clothes on). I once read that her real name was Karen Jones. Can anyone confirm this?

If any former anchor would rejoin the show now, I wish it would be Lily Kwan (Norma Wong), who still goes professionally by Lily Kwan. She has undergone quite a transformation since she left the show nearly 20 years ago and even though she’s now in her 40s, she looks much sexier that she did when she was an anchor back then.
