Baker’s Log – Electra Woman and Dyna Girl

Sunday, August 6, 2017 Rock Baker 1

The 70s saw an increase in female superheroes on television, including the Sid and Marty Krofft Saturday morning adventure series Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. Basically a female version of the Adam West Batman series,

A Slice of Cheesecake – Jean Moorehead

Monday, July 31, 2017 Rock Baker 0

Jean Moorehead is remembered mostly for being one of the early Playmates, as well as a frequently-employed calendar and magazine model. She was fairly busy as an actress, though, and was in several genre films.

Baker’s Log – Twins of Evil

Here’s one I haven’t gotten yet, though it’s on the list. Hammer’s Twins of Evil came along during the studio’s last gasps as a horror factory. Though they had dominated the Gothic horror market beginning in the late 50s.

(Short-Lived) Blogs by Hooters Girls

Tuesday, July 11, 2017 Chris Charles and Rock Baker 16

Some Hooters Girls start blogs during their employment with the company. Most who do, start them at the beginning of their journey into the “delightfully tacky, yet unrefined” world of breasts and Buffalo wings.

A Slice of Cheesecake – Debee Ashby NSFW

Monday, May 29, 2017 Rock Baker 0

This spotlight pictorial goes to another monstrously busty 80s magazine model. I don’t think Debee Ashby is as cute as Karen Brennan, exotic as Maria Whittaker, or charming as Samantha Fox, but she’s attractive in her own way.

Baker’s Log – Femforce #178

Tuesday, May 23, 2017 Rock Baker 1

Super-Cutie in action in AC Comics’ Femforce issue #178, with inks by Scott Shriver. Though written with the same limitless spoofery of an Animaniacs cartoon, I think I more fully captured a 1960s feel with this story.

A Slice of Cheesecake – Adrian Booth (aka Lorna Gray)

Wednesday, May 3, 2017 Rock Baker 0

I met Miss Booth at a Chicago film show some years back. Unfortunately, I was too young to fully appreciate the event. ASOC is proud to feature her in this spotlight pictorial.

Baker’s Log – Betsy the Bookwriter in “Jungle Doll”

From back in 2011, very early in my career as a professional cartoonist. My anatomy wasn’t very strong this early, so I had to focus more on the jokes.
