A Slice of Cheesecake – Jean Moorehead

Pretty Jean Moorehead is remembered mostly for being one of the early Playmates, as well as a frequently-employed calendar and magazine model. She was fairly busy as an actress, though, and was in several genre films. Thing is, you usually don’t realize this unless you see several close together and pick up the pattern. As an example, she’s the secretary that June Kenney replaces in ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE. Of her films, she’s probably most noted for her starring role in THE VIOLENT YEARS, a girl-gang JD flick scripted by Ed Wood. Not a bad little movie, I note, and proof that Ed’s scripts could be pulled off if direction was handled by better talents than his own.
