There have been several established porn stars who have appeared on Naked News, but they did so as guest anchors, without having to pass any audition, because, due to their occupation, their credentials preceded them and auditions weren’t deemed necessary. However, porn star Lotus Lain, despite being an experienced and fairly well-known performer in the adult industry at the time, auditioned for “the program with nothing to hide” in October of 2023. Rather than present a piece on a celebrity, as most Naked News auditionees do, Lotus submitted the above video recorded audition shot at her home in Southern California, in which she gave a self introduction.
Despite possessing the necessary qualifications, Lotus didn’t become a part of the Naked News team. Whether that was by her choice or a decision made by Naked News is unknown by us. Either way, it was Naked News‘ loss that Lotus didn’t become a part of their nude news team. In fact, if she would have joined Naked News, delivering news stories while naked would have been one of the mildest acts Lotus would have performed during her career.
