Back in 2019 when adult entertainment star August Skye turned in the above audition and post audition interview for Naked News, she was still going professionally by Charrdonnay (yes, it’s spelled with two R’s, unlike the wine) Young. At the time, she expressed her intentions to pursue her modeling career, to include nude modeling, but made no mention of her interest or desire to venture into hardcore, but by 2022, she had transformed into porn star August Skye.
Charrdonnay’s audition went over well and she was invited back to be a guest anchor. She accepted and did a brief stint as a guest anchor during December of 2019. Here she is on December 9th co-hosting the opening segment of her first show with veteran anchor Eila Adams.

Charrdonnay Today: Since reemerging in 2022 as “August Skye,” the former Charrdonnay Young has launched a very successful career in the adult entertainment industry. According to her IAFD page, the now 31-year old porn star has appeared in well over 130 hardcore scenes with male and female costars as well as solo performances. She now sports a larger (one stat especially) 36DD-26-38 figure and remains tattoo-free.
Although there have been several high profile porn stars who have appeared on Naked News as guest anchors, it was after they had carved out names for themselves in the adult industry. Charrdonnay/August is unique in that she appeared on Naked News before she began her porn career. The likelihood she had aspirations to become a porn star back in 2019, when she appeared on Naked News, and used that as sort of “stepping stone” seems doubtful, as she changed her name and reinvented her look just before taking the plunge into hardcore, but it’s still a possibility and would make a great question for a subsequent interview if she grants us.
Also worth mentioning is that Charrdonnay/August is not the only lady who has gone from Naked News to doing explicit content. Almost all the current (unfortunately, Isabella Rossini being the lone exception) Naked News anchors do hardcore content at their adult content pages (OnlyFans, Tempted, and the like). In fact, some current and former anchors even appear together, such as Eila Adams and Whitney St. John, who have partnered with each other for some very explicit girl-girl scenes.
I’d say Eila and August are no longer anywhere near equally endowed. August gained weight in all the right places.
