Last Saturday, Saturday Night Live viewers were treated to the debut of an original Yuletide music video by arguably the best female cast in SNL’s history.
“(Do It On My) Twin Bed,” performed by (left to right in the above shot) Noël Wells, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Cecily Strong, and Nasim Pedrad was the highlight of the season 39, episode 10 show. The song and video, about young women visiting their childhood homes for the holidays with their boyfriends in tow and the awkwardness that can present itself when it comes to getting intimate, is destined to be a SNL classic. The song and video was the creation of SNL writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, along with cast members Kate and Aidy.
