Slit

Horror short featuring Lillian Lamour, Miranda Cox, and ....

Daredevil Films’ synopsis for their 2015 horror short Slit, really tells all there is to tell, except whether or not the girls are killed (which they are, but that’s not worthy of a SPOILER ALERT). It reads; “Slit is a sexy short horror film in which passion and murder are in store for two party girls whose steamy sexual encounter turns bloody when a black-gloved killer follows them home.” Even though that’s basically all there is to the story, viewers will still expect some sort of twist or unexpected ending. Suffice to say, to most viewers, the ending will be unexpected because it’s an ending that’s perfectly logical and most of us tend to think too far outside the box when trying to guess the ending to a horror movie.

Lillian Lamour and Miranda Cox, who are both credited at the beginning of the film, play the two party girls. The reason the name of the person playing the killer is not included at the beginning of the film (nor on the film’s official posters) is also the reason I’d have to write SPOILER ALERT before including the name here.

The cinematography and music in this one are top notch, as can be expected from any of Daredevil Films’ productions. Check out their official website to see more on Slit and their other films. As for Lillian Lamour, check out her IMDb and Facebook fan pages and this very nice photo set from G&D Studios. She also on Twitter, but, somewhat surprisingly, doesn’t seem to be an avid “tweeter.”
