Blood Lust with Bailey Jay

The now defunct podcast Blood Lust with Bailey Jay (also known as “Bailey Jay’s Blood Lust”) was hosted by adult video star and content creator Bailey Jay and ran for only eight episodes, from June to August of 2015. It was part of the Fangoria Podcast Network and it ended without fanfare, farewell, or explanation. It just simply ceased. Too bad because Bailey was a good hostess, asked good questions, had good guests, and knew her horror. It was also proof that Bailey could be popular in a niche in the entertainment industry that doesn’t involve her taking off her clothes and showing off her erect cock.

Here we have Episode 8, posted August 22, 2015, which was the final podcast, with Bailey’s guest, horror film director, writer, and producer, Brian Yuzna, who gave horror fans such gems as The Dentist (1996), Faust (2000), and Beyond Re-Animator (2003).

Bailey also previously portrayed horror hostess Shemalia, “the girl who put the ‘trans’ in Transylvania,” on her show Shemalia’s Film Fiasco in 2014 (featured here). Shemalia was campy and clever, using lots of not-so-subtle references and innuendos regarding her having male genitalia (but keeping her package under wraps). However, despite showing real potential for becoming a prominent horror hostess, and one with something “extra,” to boot, Shemalia’s Film Fiasco was even shorter-lived than Blood Lust with Bailey Jay.
