The 2019 award-winning German short film Der Schein zum Sein (English title; The Ticket to Be) from director Joachim Böttcher stars Anita Stenke as Debby, a young girl being raised by her grandparents. Money is tight and Debby’s grandmother dreams of winning the lottery someday. She always chooses the same numbers, hoping that one day, those will be the winning numbers.
Shot in September 2019, the film also features actual players of the 1. FFC Frankfurt Soccer Team (now know as Eintracht Frankfurt), some of whom are also members of the Germany Women’s National Soccer Team.
