Following You Only Live Twice, Sean Connery decided he’d had enough of 007. After a search for a new Bond, producers chose young unknown Australian actor, George Lazenby.

You Only Live Twice was a pull-out-all-the-stops, give-the-audience-what they-want grand scale adventure Connery decided would be his last as the world’s most popular spy.

After calling it quits and moving on to other projects, Sean Connery was again approached to play 007 following the premature departure of George Lazenby.

London-born actress Maryam D’Abo is the beautiful Russian girl, Kara Milovy, a more petite sort of Bond girl than we’re used to seeing, but an absolute knockout all the same.
