Sparkuhl’s vision of Zombie Prom was birthed in the tireless efforts of her production as cofounder of Soundpieces – the crew famed for showcasing diverse high-end bass music weekly at Monarch for 10 years straight with rare international acts including Diplo, Addison Groove, Aphrodite, Kode 9; and many for their very first time in the Bay Area, such as: Hudson Mohawke, Mount Kimbie, Rustie, Shlohmo, Nicola Cruz, Caspa, and Joker to name a few.
MalLabel Music is a San Francisco underground bass music label founded in 2008, born out of the Bay Area’s earliest underground bass parties. The label helped launch artists such as Minnesota, G Jones, Widdler, Of The Trees, Ahee and Shlump. With over 300 releases in their catalog, MalLabel continues to feature up-and-coming talent from the West Coast bass scene.
For over 20 years MalLabel and Sparkuhl have been collaborating on art and production, building within our community as the premier sources for top shelf underground experiences with forward-thinking music.
