Here’s a Rock Baker rarity, my first attempt at a cheesecake cartoon (many years ago). This comes from a single issue experiment I did called “Victory Comics 1942” and Betty the Bombshell was one of my back-up strips.
Of a number of comic cheesecake updates of classic fairy tales hosted by the daughter of Mother Goose, one Gretta Goose, it’s proven rather more difficult to assemble than I imagined. Still, it’s close to being drawn. Here’s a look.

Very early in my career as a pencil jockey, I tried to sell a newspaper strip to King Features. EV was the only strip to get as far as submission, although I developed a couple of others. As you can see, my work on this project was very crude.
