Friday the 13th Victim, Tina

One of the most mammorable memorable deaths in the Friday the 13th franchise, for a pair of good reasons, has to be that of Tina in 1985’s Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. The actress playing Tina is Deborah Voorhees (credited in the film as “Debisue Voorhees” and yes, that’s her real surname). According to her IMDb page, Deborah hasn’t done much in front of the camera since the 1980s, but she’s never been a candidate for the “Whatever Happened to..?” file. Possessing a BA in journalism, Deborah did a stint teaching high school English after her acting career. However, her teaching career was cut short, supposedly due to her aforementioned memorable film appearance being discovered. She went on to become a successful writer, working for the Dallas Morning News and penning a novel, and in 2012, she wrote, directed, and appeared in her indie comedy Billy Shakespeare, which was produced by her own production company, Voorhees Film Production.
