Science Fiction Double Feature – Jayde Westaby

The Rocky Horror Show Live was recorded at the Playhouse Theatre in London, on September 17th 2015. It was shown live in over 600 cinemas across the UK and Europe that evening, and was subsequently released on DVD in October of that year, mainly due to great demand by fans.

Above is Jayde Westaby in the role of the Usherette (and later appearing in the show as Magenta) singing the opening song “Science Fiction Double Feature,” as the Usherette always has in the show’s stage performances. It was only in the opening of the film in which Riff Raff (played by the song’s author Richard O’Brien) sang it.
