Taya Parker Graces the Poster for Beach Massacre at Kill Devil Hills

Beach Massacre at Kill Devil Hills

As with many indie films when they get picked up by a major distributor, it was decided that a new title was in order for Lawrence W. Nelson’s 2016 horror You Found Me. Along with changing the title to Beach Massacre at Kill Devil Hills, a new and very eye-catching poster recently debuted. The film’s lead actress, 2009 Penthouse Pet of the Year Taya Parker, is prominently featured on the poster and it’s reminiscent of the poster for the 1980 re-release of the 1978 slasher I Spit on Your Grave, which also features a knife-wielding, scantly-clad babe, seemingly bent on survival. However, unlike the 1980 I Spit on Your Grave poster, which featured a still-not-positively identified model, and NOT the film’s star, Camille Keaton (and you can read more about that here), the female form on this poster definitely does belong to the lead actress in the film.

Speaking of ladies in this film, out of the ten credited actresses in the cast, five; Dawna Lee Heising, Deborah Funes, Elissa Dowling, Liane Langford, and Sarah French, have graced the pages of Idol Features in the past. Of course, the ones who haven’t yet; Taya, Diana Prince, Christina Schimmel, and Tracy Ashbourne, are all on our radar, so stay tuned.

You Found Me
Taya was also featured on the posted when the film was released under its original title.
