A Slice of Cheesecake – Elizabeth Turner

June Palmer was one of the most prolific magazine/figure models of the 1960s. Though at times she could lean towards being a touch on the beefy side, she was blessed with a striking face.

Besides Annette Funicello, this one introduced Bobbie Shaw. She did other parts, but she’ll be best remembered for her performance as the Swede in the fur-trimmed bikini.

Of a number of comic cheesecake updates of classic fairy tales hosted by the daughter of Mother Goose, one Gretta Goose, it’s proven rather more difficult to assemble than I imagined. Still, it’s close to being drawn. Here’s a look.
