Unlike Melanie and Feya, the other two Asian ladies who’ve auditioned for “the program with nothing to hide” and have been previously featured here, Shannon (above, breezing through her audition from September 23, 2005) speaks perfect, unaccented English. In fact, she even sounds sultry while she delivers the “In Focus” look at Brooke Burke and afterwards during her brief (but clothed) interview. Despite that, she also wasn’t chosen to be a nude anchorwoman for Toronto-based Naked News. Go figure.

Don’t know why she wasn’t chosen to be a regular anchor, or even invited back to be a guest. I think in September 2005, Yukiko Kimura had just started, so maybe they chose Yukiko over Shannon here as the new sole Asian Naked News anchor.
Yes Naked News seems to only have room for one Asian anchor on their roster at any given time. Lily, then Gia, then Yukiko, now Carli.
She does seem shy about fully showing her ta-tas. Maybe she had a change of heart after auditioning.
I think this was just sort of a bucket list kinda thing for her. You can tell she’s not quite 100% ok about showing her body. I have no idea if she was invited back or not, but if she would have been, she probably would have passed.
