The Ladies of Streets of Vengeance

Since its mid-October release, Paul Ragsdale’s carnal thriller Streets of Vengeance, described as an 80s-style female revenge movie, has met with many favorable reviews by indie film critics. However, this article won’t be a review of the film, but rather a feature of all the ladies in its cast, which, considering the names here, is actually just as good an endorsement of this movie as any favorable review would be.If this film would have actually been released back in the VHS days, it would have been found on those shelves furthest back in the video store, just outside the curtain, behind which led to the adult section, where you could have found many titles featuring this film’s special guest star. Delawna McKinney stars as porn star “Mila Lynn,” who assembles a group of vengeful vixens to extract revenge on the underground group of men who raped and tortured her, then left her for dead. Says director Paul Ragsdale of the character; “The character of Mila and the whole film’s aesthetic was greatly influenced by the iconic Ginger Lynn, who made a special guest appearance in the film. To have both of these actors share the screen, the inspiration and the manifestation, was surreal and phenomenal.” Calling Modesto, California home, Delawna currently has just one other film to her acting credits, but her modeling resume is a bit longer.

Right: Joanna Angel as “Nina,” is a veteran of the adult video industry as a performer, writer, and director. Her long list of titles at her IMDb and IAFD pages will reflect that. She was one of the hosts at the 33rd Adult Video News Awards this past January and her official website has been voted AVN’s best porn star website for six years in a row. There isn’t really anything that can be shown or told about Joanna here that can’t be seen or learned about her at her website, but ….

Another heavily-illustrated lady in the film is Angela Mazzanti, credited as “Knife Girl.” It’s her first acting credit, but she’s built up an impressive modeling portfolio, samples you can view at her Instagram page and her Model Mayhem profile. Jazmine C. Sanders (aka Jazmine Colleen) plays “Lana” and is also new to the film industry. Born in Santiago, Chile and now living in Southern California, you can learn more about Jazmine at her Facebook fan page and at an interview she did with Monster Diggare.

A graduate of the Paul Mitchell Schools, Amanda Cox (left) is a hairstylist by trade and making her acting debut as “Val” in this film. Kaytlyn Breeane, credited as “Jane Doe,” in the film, is an exotic dancer by trade. Another colorfully inked lady, she can be seen (but not sure what nights) at Sirens Gentleman’s Club in Columbus, Ohio. Alexis Amore and Sophie Dee (aka Kirsty Hill, which she’s credited as in the film) are also among the adult industry alumnae in the cast. For Alexis, who plays “Lucia,” Streets of Vengeance is the latest in her long list of credits at IMDb, which include only a select batch of her adult video roles. Her full adult video credits at her IAFD page amount to over 340 since she began her porn career in 1999. Sophie has racked up over 530 performer credits to her body of work in the 11 years she’s been in the adult industry. Fans, who are members at her official website, can occasionally see her live on webcam.

Krystal Shay is credited as an unnamed “webcam girl.” She’s fairly new to the adult industry, with just six credits listed at her IAFD page, but I’m sure that number will increase, as will her fanbase, who also know her as KushBunny.

Adult video icon Ginger Lynn (billed in this, as she has in most of her “legit” film roles, as “Ginger Lynn Allen”) has a special guest role as “Roxy Carmichael.” Ginger was one of the biggest names in porn at the dawn of the home video age in early 1984 and was the first adult video performer to be signed to a contact with a major production company (Vivid Video). The XRCO Hall-of-Famer now personally oversees the operation of her official website and may hopefully appear on the pages of Idol Features in an exclusive interview in the not-too-distant future.
